Buyer Protection fee on Vinted

Our goal is to provide buyers with a secure purchasing experience by applying a Buyer Protection fee. This fee is mandatory for every order made through Vinted and is added automatically at checkout.

The calculation of this fee varies based on several factors, such as:

• item characteristics
• order value
• order type (a single item versus a bundle) 

The Buyer Protection fee typically includes a percentage of the item's or bundle's price, as well as a fixed fee — usually 5% + $1.20.

As you browse items, the fee is included in the price breakdown for each listing and reflected in the total price for the item or bundle. At checkout, the total Buyer Protection fee, which includes GST, will be added to your order's final price and clearly displayed in the order summary.
