Beautiful vintage Wedgwood Kutani Crane vase pair, made in England in fine bone china.
Both pieces feature the much-loved Kutani Crane pattern, with colourful crane and floral decoration, soft ivory-white porcelain and elegant gold trim. The pair includes a small footed urn-style vase and a taller bud vase, making them lovely displayed together or separately.
The Kutani Crane pattern was produced by Wedgwood from the 1970s onwards, and these pieces are consistent with late 1970s–1980s production.
Approximate measurements:
* Small urn vase: 9.5 cm high × 7.5 cm diameter, with a 5.5 cm base
* Tall bud vase: 14 cm high × 2 cm opening, with a 5 cm base
Condition:
The smaller urn vase presents very well overall. The taller bud vase has a visible hairline fracture to the body, as shown in the photos, and also has some light internal staining/marks from previous use holding flowers. Both pieces show light age-related wear to the gold trim consistent with vintage use.
Please review all photos carefully as they form part of the condition description.
A lovely pair for a Wedgwood collector, vintage china display, or anyone who loves classic English decorative ware.
